Ruby Robins – Co-Writer

Holding a degree in elementary education from the University of
North Texas, Ruby Robins is a former kindergarten and second
grade teacher.  She approaches her writing with an eye toward
acceptance by the school systems.  
April Robins - Author

The peaceful setting of her farm in the Red River
Valley often inspires April Robins to paint her
countryside in words.  She is an honors graduate
from Texas A&M University with a BS in Computer
Science.  After years of working on software projects
related to the welfare of children, April retired and
pursued her love of writing children’s books.  She is
married to Jay and they have two grown children and
four grandchildren.

Holding a degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of
Texas, Jay Robins worked in the aerospace industry for many years.
Jay is an accomplished storyteller.  He brings to the stories a
creative mind and thought provoking insights.
Celeste Robins – Co-Writer

As a mother, homemaker, and an active school system volunteer,
Celeste Robins’ life is rich with purpose.  Celeste has the uncanny
ability to transpose any passage into a child’s level of
understanding.

Face"

Every so often, an artistic talent comes along that catches your heart and your imagination.  Valerie Bouthyette has that ability. She
stirs memories of your childhood long forgotten and brings them to the forefront fresh and precious. For a moment, you become a
kid again.  Renowned for her broad graphic styles, Valerie was born on Long Island, New York.  Today she lives on a farm in Pine
City, New York, with her Canadian born husband, Pierre, and their dogs, Maggie and Amber.  She is devoted to her children,

Living in the quiet north woods of Upper Michigan, Kelly Carter holds a bachelor’s degree in Art & Design from Northern Michigan
University. She has been working full time as an illustrator for several years. Her artwork has been used in many children’s books,

Alexandra Tebow – The New FISHER Series including its first release "Fisher Lives on a River"

Alex grew up spending her summers camping in the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California. She's a graduate of the Academy
of Art University in San Francisco and does  a variety of work in children's book illustration and graphic design. When she isn't
traveling or drawing, Alex makes her home in Long Beach, California. You can visit her website at

Carolyn Janney, Kindergarten Teacher - Lesson Plans & Activity Sheets

Carolyn lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia .    She teaches kindergarten at a local public school and tutors students in all grades
at a tutoring agency.  She has earned her Bachelors of Art in Elementary Education from Arcadia University and is currently working
on her Master’s of Education from Cabrini College .  When not being the teacher or student, Carolyn enjoys reading, visiting

Samantha Phoenix, Special Education Teacher - Reading Comprehension Worksheets

Samantha was raised in Texas.  She is F. Jay Robins' sister.  Samantha graduated Salutatorian of her high school class.  She
attended East Texas State University in Commerce, TX, graduating with a BBA in Office Management and a BS in Computer
Information Systems.  After some years in the business world, Samantha decided to complete the requirements for a teaching
certification in Special Education as well as English Language, Reading and Social Studies. She is married with two young
children and teaches Elementary Special Education.
